Bay Area Women of Color BDSM Photo Project
We will have a Contingent in the San Francisco Gay Pride Parade – Sunday, June 25, 2006

Parade Theme: Commemorate, Educate, Liberate – Celebrate!

We are seeking Women of Color volunteers & (2 parade monitor participants) to be in the parade on Sunday June 25th, 2006 (arrival time approximately 8-9 a.m.). We are also seeking a Sponsor (any orientation) to help pay for the Car Rental.

We have been selected to participate in the Partners in Pride category. It would be great to have some of the women whom have participated in our previous photo shoots, some of our past photographers and newly interested Women of Color.

Our Colors: Gold, Purple and Dark Green (Mardi Gras colors) so please plan your fetish wardrobe accordingly.

We are working on renting either a Classic Convertible Car or a modern mid-size convertible. I have signed us up for a small contingent of 25 people to participate including the required 2 Safety Monitors (1 safety meeting required).

What we will provide Mardi Gras colored…:
Feather masks
Glitter masks
Whistles
Mardi Gras Beads
and finally Bottled water.

Dress to impress with your fetish wear, bring your wonderful smiles and walking legs.

If you are a Women of Color and are interested in participating in the parade, please contact Ms. Heart, Project Mgr. at msheartsf@att.net by the end of March or Early April 2006.

    • Wow Thank you Heart. I so enjoyed march with the contingent yesterday.. Al the effort that you and everybody put into it showed. Walking or should I say dancing and singing down Market Street was such a joyful experience. And to hear and see the faces of poc's yelling and smiling back as we approched was a thrill. Thanks again Ms Heart

I totally had fun with this. It was gleeful glitter fun riding in the convertible all the while dancing to the music. It felt great to see the look of recognition on the POC faces as we passed by and also to see all of my beautiful sista's and brotha's dressed to the hilts in their fine leather and fetish wear representing! Thanks for inviting me to ride. I t was fun to wear my Dyke Diva 03 vest once again and to make that ride down market... kinda like an instant replay....wee. But way more fun! The music was more better to dance to and I was surrounded by all my way pretty and handsome POC's and Heart darlin' you looked devine, smashing my dear. The only thing missing was Kaya . Kaya we missed you up in the car. Next time--for sure. Can't wait to do this thang again--humm where else can we march!!!
